Undoubtedly one of the most stimulating offers of La Lingua La Vita is the wine tasting course guided by a qualified sommelier who teaches students how to recognize the aroma and intensity of the most refined local wines coupled with the tasting of the exquisite varieties available in Umbria.
The wine tasting takes place in places such as a wine bar in Todi’s city center or prestigious wineries such as the Lungarotti establishment at Torgiano or that of Arnaldo Caprai at Montefalco.

Olive oil production can also be explored and various fine local oils tasted according to the season - new oils in the spring, extra-virgin oils accompanied by bread, tomatoes, and other sauces, etc. Explanation of picking techniques, the pressing and the use of olive oil in food preparation is also discussed, along with how to recognize a good oil and where to find it.
