Archeological Excursions
We also offer visits to Umbria’s ‘secret’ treasures - those places that visitors might never discover on their own such as Carsulae, a Roman city (now an archaeological site) situated along the ancient Via Flaminia, the road which historically connected Rome to Berlin; the Longobard abbey of San Pietro in Valle (in the Valnerina, or valley of the Nera river); and the suggestive Medieval suburbs and castles dotting the countryside around Todi. Students can relax in such peaceful ambiance, walking along antique streets and immersing themselves in the fascination of the past.
