Umbria

Located in the heart of Italy, between Romeand Florence, Umbria is one of Italy’s most renowned regions for natural beauty, historical heritage and artistic patrimony. Two natural lakes, Lake Trasimeno north of Perugia and Lake Piediluco near Terni and a man-made one, Lake Corbara between Todi and Orvieto, the Castelluccio plain and ample green valleys amidst the Appennini east of the region

There are also the Marmore Waterfalls built by the Romans in the third century B.C, which deviate the flow of two rivers, creating a 150 mt waterfall, and the Clitunno Streams, near Spoleto, natural mineral water sources praised by Virgilio, Roman poet, and by Carducci, the early 19^th century poet.

All of Umbria’s most beautiful cities, still untainted by mass tourism, are as little as 30 minutes from Todi by car. Perugia, ancient city of Etruscan origins with ample medieval spaces, is the capital of the region

Assisi, Spoleto, Gubbio, Spello, Bevagna, Orvieto, are cities rich with history and art  and offer a relaxing and friendly atmosphere .
